Privacy Policy

01

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Take 220 Productions LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the FixMyFlyer website at fixmyflyer.app and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Take 220 Productions LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal information. You can reach us at info@getstarrd.app.

FixMyFlyer shares its account system with our other applications, including Starrd (getstarrd.app) and ModMyCar (modmycar.app). One account works across these apps, and the data described here is held in that shared system. FixMyFlyer is a website; there is no FixMyFlyer mobile app.

Information We Collect

Account Information

You sign in with your mobile phone number and a one-time code sent by SMS (login texts may be branded “Starrd AI Apps”). We store your phone number to identify your account, send login codes, and prevent abuse. We do not collect passwords or email addresses on FixMyFlyer.

The Flyer You Upload

To have an existing flyer redesigned, you upload one image. That file is stored in our cloud storage (Supabase Storage) and is shared with the third-party AI processors listed in Section 6 solely to fulfill your request. A flyer is a published document and often carries more than your own words — photographs of performers or hosts, venue and sponsor imagery, logos and trademarks. If you do not want something processed, crop it out or do not include it; see Section 4. If you instead have us design a flyer from scratch, you type your event details and no image is uploaded.

Your Flyer Text

When you upload a flyer, an AI model (Anthropic’s Claude) reads the text elements off your image — event name, venue, host, dates, times, prices, addresses, phone numbers and fine print — and shows them to you so you can confirm or correct them before anything is generated. When you design from scratch, the text is simply what you type. Either way, the confirmed or typed text is stored with your job and passed to the image model that produces your designs. Any personal information in that text — a contact phone number, an address, a name — is therefore held by us as text.

Your Redesigned Flyers

The AI-generated designs are stored in our cloud storage and associated with your account. Designs you generate are accessible to you and, if you choose to share or publish them, to anyone you share them with.

Purchase Information

Credit purchases are processed by Stripe. We and Stripe receive transaction confirmations and purchase details (such as product, amount, and a transaction identifier). We do not collect or store your full payment card number.

Device and Usage Data

We collect standard technical data such as device and browser type, referring site, approximate country, and the pages you view, so we can operate the Service, measure engagement, and prevent abuse. Where you are signed in, activity relating to your jobs and purchases is linked to your account.

Cookies

FixMyFlyer uses only essential cookies — the ones required to keep you signed in and secure the site. For traffic measurement we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is designed to work without cookies and does not track you across other websites. We do not run advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers on fixmyflyer.app today. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

03

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Authenticate you and secure your account.
  • Read the text off your uploaded flyer and present it to you for confirmation, and generate flyer designs from the text you confirm or type.
  • Process and track credit purchases and automatic refunds of failed jobs.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
  • Analyze usage to operate, improve, and optimize the Service.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or misuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
04

Flyer Content and People Pictured On It

When you upload a flyer, FixMyFlyer treats it as a document. We read the words off it and generate a new design carrying those words. We do not run facial recognition, we do not detect, extract, measure, or store faceprints, face geometry, or any other biometric identifier, and we do not ask you for biometric consent because we do not collect biometric data.

Flyers routinely carry material about other people and other businesses: photographs of performers, hosts or guests, band and venue images, sponsor logos and brand marks. If a person appears in the flyer you upload, that part of the image passes through the same AI pipeline as the rest of the file. Accordingly:

  • Only upload a flyer you have the rights to use, including the rights to every photograph and mark printed on it, and the consent of every identifiable person depicted. Your obligations are set out in Section 7 of our Terms of Service.
  • We use uploaded flyers solely to produce the redesigns you request. We do not sell them, we do not use them to build facial-recognition systems, and we do not use them to train our own models.
  • Uploaded flyers and generated designs are retained as described in Section 10 and are deleted when you delete your account.
05

Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:

  • Contract — to create your account, process your upload, and generate and deliver your redesigned flyers.
  • Consent — where required, for optional processing you opt into. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and understand and improve how the Service is used, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
06

Third-Party Services and Subprocessors

We use the following third-party services to operate FixMyFlyer. Each has its own privacy policy governing its handling of data. We may update this list as our providers change; the version reflected by the “Last updated” date above is current.

  • Supabase (hosted on AWS) — authentication, database, and file storage for your account, your uploaded flyer, and your finished designs.
  • Vercel — website hosting, delivery, and cookieless traffic analytics.
  • SMS delivery — one-time login codes are sent to your phone number through the telephony provider configured in our Supabase authentication project.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — reads the text off your uploaded flyer so you can confirm it before anything is generated.
  • KIE.ai — the AI gateway through which the redesign request is submitted and through which your finished designs are returned.
  • OpenAI (GPT Image 2) — the image model that generates the redesigned flyer, accessed through KIE.ai.

These AI processors receive your flyer and its confirmed text only to perform the requested redesign. We do not authorize them to use your content to train their models for unrelated purposes; however, each provider’s own terms and retention practices govern data once it is transmitted to them, and we cannot guarantee how long any provider retains data on its systems.

07

International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. To read and redesign your flyer we transmit it to the AI providers listed in Section 6, which may receive, process, or store it on infrastructure located outside the United States and outside your own country.

Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from, and may be less protective than, the laws of your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers out of the EEA/UK. By uploading a flyer and requesting a redesign, you acknowledge and agree to these international transfers for the purpose of producing your designs.

08

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase (hosted on AWS). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Row-level security policies on our database.
  • Secure, scoped access to cloud storage.
  • Phone-number verification for authentication.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

09

Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We disclose your data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers / subprocessors: with the providers listed in Section 6, solely to operate the Service.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful government request.
  • Safety: to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the Company, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
10

Data Retention and Deletion

  • Uploaded flyers: retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of an individual upload, or delete your entire account, at any time.
  • Flyer text you confirmed or typed: retained with the job record while your account is active.
  • Generated designs: retained while your account is active. Download the files you want to keep — we are not a backup service.
  • Account data: retained until you delete your account.
  • Transaction records: retained as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.

To delete your account and its data, email info@getstarrd.app from a message that identifies your account phone number, or use the account controls where available. When you delete your account, we delete your account data, uploaded flyers, and generated designs from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe. Some data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period or be retained where required by law. We may also retain a one-way record of a deleted phone number to prevent abuse of promotional credits. Because the account system is shared, deleting your account also deletes it for our other apps that use the same sign-in.

11

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data.
  • Obtain a portable copy of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share — see Section 9).
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (EEA/UK users).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@getstarrd.app. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
